Great stay with no issues. The hotel is located close to Shibuya Station at around 600 - 800m away depending on which exit you chose. Great little walk but keep in mind if you are pushing suitcases it is mostly up a reasonably steep incline (just something to keep in mind). The general areas is great...vending machines and Family Mart on the way home to top up supplies. Comfy room, clothes washing machine and dryer, decent sized living area and bathroom (not huge but ok by western standards). We did not use the breakfast option so have no insight. Slippers and PJs supplied. If you are reading this you are most likely about the area as much as the hotel. We enjoyed the mix of old and new around every corner and felt safe.

Good sized, well equipped room in a very quiet location but only a short distance to the centre and sights and sounds of the wonderful Shibuya area! Close also to one entrance to the Shibuya Mark City mall where there are restaurants and shops and (convoluted but doable) access to Shibuya station! As these are effectively apartments with their own facilities (microwave and kettle), "breakfast" is available daily in the foyer for "cooking" in your own room. For our 4 night stay, the options were the same every day: a selection of Japanese dishes or croque monsieur plus a soup - lobster bisque and minestrone (I think). We tried the lobster bisque which came with very large vegetable pieces and even a chunk of what looked like chicken. My issue is 2-fold, 1) the foods are not clearly labelled so if you follow a particular diet you have no chance of finding out what you are eating - or whether you can eat it! As a pescatarian, I had to remove the ham from the croque monsieur and chicken from the soup or go hungry and 2) the thick chunky soups are a bizarre choice for a breakfast option. My recommendation is not to select/pay for the breakfast in advance (unless this is to your taste of course), there are plenty of small supermarkets nearby to get something else in or coffee shops to eat out.

We stayed two different dates at Tokyu Stay Shibuya. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Shibuya Station. (It does involve a somewhat steep hill. If you're pulling luggage, you might consider a cab.) The lobby area was under construction at the time of our stays, but nothing about our room was affected and we weren't bothered by any noise. Our rooms both had washer/dryers that we made use of. There are basic instructions on the TV for how to operate them. Several restaurants and food marts are a short walk from the door. The air conditioning worked well, even in the very hot weather. The first room we had had two separate beds. The mattresses were much firmer than the one larger bed we had in the other room. Overall, everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Comfortable, well appointed hotel with terrific breakfast. The facility is clean and well maintained. The rooms are tiny but well designed. Located near the Shibuya subway station, near many restaurants. Not located in busy districts like Shibuya or Shinjuku, but close to Tokyo Dome attractions. The hotel breakfast with both Japanese and Western options were terrific.

I have been all around the US, UK and almost all EU countries... I have never seen such a beautiful hotel as I've seen with Tokyu Stay Shibuya! All staff are very welcoming, always smiling and willing to help and deliver the best service they can... An amazing location with, the most professional and friendly staff ever seen...
